A brutalist concrete wall supports a rusting blue rail bridge as it emerges from a thicket of autumnal trees and bushes. I was drawn to the textures of deterioration of the towering concrete slabs and the contrast of the flame-red leaves against the dingy blue-grey of the painted bridge. The geometric lines of the overhead wires create a fascinating feature against the organic shapes of the tree branches.
