Foliage is overwhelming this beautiful 1930’s rail bridge as it encroaches on the entire embankment. The vibrancy of the red brick and rust against the dark green of the surrounding environment captivated me, and I loved the idea of the solidity of iron being consumed by the tangle of greenery. The geometry of the electrical overhead wires is off-set by the random textural surface of the wall below - straight and true against the twisting branches of the Scots pines.
